Institutional Structure

DeshiAI operates through a focused and independent publishing model. This masthead sets out the functions responsible for the publication’s editorial decisions, public standards, contributor relationships, commercial separation, corrections, privacy, accessibility and security. DeshiAI does not create fictional departments, honorary positions, invented staff profiles or titles simply to present the appearance of a larger organization. A function may be managed by one responsible person, shared among several people or supported by qualified external specialists. What matters is that responsibility remains identifiable and operational, even where no separate full-time department exists.

Named appointments are published only after the individual’s identity, role, authority and ongoing involvement have been verified. Until a named appointment is formally published, correspondence should be directed to the accountable office or function listed below. The presence of a contact address does not mean that each function is necessarily handled by a separate employee.

Publisher and Final Editorial Responsibility

The Publisher carries ultimate responsibility for DeshiAI’s institutional direction, editorial mission, public standards and lawful operation. This includes oversight of major policies, editorial priorities, high-risk publication decisions, ownership and funding disclosures, separation between editorial and commercial interests, correction and retraction processes, and serious complaints or appeals. Publisher responsibility does not place the Publisher’s own interests outside editorial scrutiny. Coverage involving a business, client, partner, investment, relative, legal matter, project or professional relationship connected to the Publisher is considered under the Conflict of Interest Policy and may require disclosure, additional review or recusal.

Formal publisher and legal correspondence may be sent to legal@deshiai.in.

Editorial Office

The Editorial Office manages story proposals, commissioning, contributor communication, reporting plans, editing, source assessment, article classification, headline approval, publication scheduling and post-publication review. It is responsible for ensuring that each published article accurately represents the work undertaken and that News, Analysis, Opinion, Investigation, Interview, Review and commercial material are clearly distinguished. The office also reviews authorship, dates, disclosures, images, source references, correction mechanisms, metadata and final page presentation.

Editorial proposals, interview requests, source material and general editorial correspondence may be sent to editorial@deshiai.in. Contacting the Editorial Office does not by itself create a confidential, off-the-record or source relationship, nor does it constitute a promise to publish. Any confidentiality arrangement must be expressly agreed.

Editorial Standards and Verification

The Editorial Standards function oversees DeshiAI’s application of policies relating to accuracy, ethics, verification, sourcing, conflicts of interest, investigations, anonymous sources, artificial intelligence, elections, fairness and harm reduction. Depending on the subject, review may require primary documents, recordings, calculations, supporting evidence, author identity verification, conflict declarations, right-of-reply correspondence or additional editorial scrutiny. Publication may be delayed, qualified, reclassified or declined where the available evidence does not adequately support the proposed claims or wording.

The Standards function also examines whether a headline, image, caption, summary, metadata or social presentation creates an impression that goes beyond what the article itself establishes. Standards-related enquiries may be sent to editorial@deshiai.in.

Corrections and Reader Accountability

The Reader Accountability function receives and evaluates correction requests, formal complaints, rights of reply, clarification requests and concerns about published editorial standards. A correction request should identify the relevant article, URL, specific statement, claimed error and supporting evidence. A formal complaint should identify the applicable policy or editorial principle and explain the remedy being requested.

Factual correction requests may be sent to corrections@deshiai.in. Formal complaints, grievances and rights of reply may be sent to complaints@deshiai.in. In a compact publication, one person may carry more than one editorial or standards responsibility, but a complaint should receive a separate and documented review. Where reasonably possible, an appeal is considered by someone who was not responsible for the original disputed decision or is subject to an additional independent safeguard.

Authors and Contributors

Every DeshiAI article is expected to identify its actual author or authors. Routine editorial work is not attributed to an administrative username merely for convenience. Authors and contributors are responsible for accurate identification, originality, evidence, rights, conflicts, disclosures and cooperation with legitimate correction processes. Publishing a contribution does not automatically make a guest author an employee, representative, partner or spokesperson of DeshiAI.

Contributor biographies describe relevant experience and current affiliations accurately and without unnecessary exaggeration. A contributor may write based on professional experience, academic work, independent research, lived experience or informed observation, but the basis for their knowledge or authority should be represented honestly. Contributor proposals may be sent to contributors@deshiai.in.

Guest Contribution Review

Guest submissions are reviewed according to the same fundamental editorial principles applied to commissioned work. External authors are not exempt from verification, and a submission does not become independent editorial content simply because obvious promotional wording has been removed. Review may consider identity, originality, previous publication, supporting evidence, conflicts, client relationships, significant use of automated tools, image and content rights, promotional links and the proposed public biography. Agencies, companies and interested organizations should not obscure the identity of the actual writer or the party commissioning the work.

Commercial Partnerships and Advertising

The Commercial function manages advertising, sponsorships, partner content, affiliate relationships, licensing and other disclosed publishing services. Commercial representatives may discuss formats, schedules, audiences, lawful claims, production requirements and contractual terms. They may not promise favorable independent coverage, a predetermined conclusion, search-ranking treatment, undisclosed links, protection from criticism or removal of accurate public-interest material. Commercial content is given an appropriate public label and disclosure that reflects the nature of the arrangement.

Commercial enquiries may be sent to advertising@deshiai.in.

Privacy and Data Governance

The Privacy function oversees personal-data enquiries, rights requests, retention practices, contact-form information, contributor records, complaint records, newsletter information and relevant relationships with technical service providers. Privacy requests may require proportionate verification of identity or authority. DeshiAI does not ordinarily request unnecessary identity documents, and sensitive personal information should not be transmitted until an appropriate and secure method has been agreed.

Privacy enquiries may be sent to privacy@deshiai.in.

Accessibility

The Accessibility function receives reports about barriers involving navigation, page structure, contrast, keyboard operation, forms, images, captions, zoom, readability and assistive technologies. Reports should identify the relevant page, describe the barrier encountered, provide the device or assistive technology involved where useful and explain what adjustment or alternative would make the content more accessible. A person does not need to disclose a medical diagnosis when reporting an accessibility issue.

Accessibility enquiries may be sent to accessibility@deshiai.in.

Security and Vulnerability Reporting

The Security function handles good-faith reports concerning vulnerabilities in systems controlled by DeshiAI. Security researchers should review the applicable Security and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy before conducting tests or submitting technical details. Sensitive technical information should not be submitted through ordinary contact forms. Researchers are expected to minimize exposure to personal data and avoid disruption, social engineering, destructive testing or unnecessary exploitation.

Security reports may be sent to security@deshiai.in.

General Contact

General enquiries that do not fit within a dedicated function may be sent to contact@deshiai.in. Using the general address for a correction, complaint, security disclosure or legal notice may slow the response or route the matter incorrectly. Where an issue is time-sensitive or falls clearly within a dedicated category, the relevant contact route should be used.

Named Appointments and Changes

When a named Publisher, Editor, Managing Editor, Standards Editor, Reporter, Contributor, Adviser or other accountable office-holder is formally appointed, this page records the person’s full public name, current role and effective date, together with relevant and verifiable expertise, principal responsibilities, material outside affiliations where appropriate, professional contact route and date of last verification. Former personnel are removed or clearly identified as former office-holders. Historical articles may retain their original byline, but an author profile does not indicate that an individual continues to hold a role that has ended.

Institutional Accountability

A focused digital publication does not need to reproduce the organizational structure of a large international media corporation. It does, however, need clear and genuine lines of responsibility. Every function described on this page represents an operational commitment maintained by DeshiAI. The publication distinguishes between the size of its team and the seriousness with which it approaches accuracy, transparency, accountability and editorial standards.
