Launch Editorial Transparency Report 2026
Purpose
This report establishes a public baseline for Deshi AI’s transition from a developing and editorial-testing technology website into a fully launched independent digital publication. It explains the publication’s identity, launch standards, limitations of the testing period, archive-review position, ownership and funding approach, treatment of authors and commercial material, correction and complaint arrangements, artificial-intelligence controls, accessibility, privacy, security and the work that remains after launch.
The report is intended to describe Deshi AI’s actual operating position rather than create an impression of institutional scale or maturity that cannot be supported by evidence. It records the standards adopted for public operation and the controls that are intended to govern the publication as it develops.
Publication Identity
Deshi AI is a technology-focused digital publication covering Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, machine learning, AI tools and applications, generative AI, AI ethics and safety, industry developments and the broader impact of digital transformation. Its purpose is to make complex technology easier to understand while providing useful, clear and responsible information for readers following the development of AI and related technologies.
The publication may use clearly identified formats including News, Analysis, Explainer, Investigation, Interview, Opinion, Review, Sponsored Content, Partner Content and Press Release where those formats are actually adopted. These distinctions are intended to help readers understand how material was produced and whether commercial, institutional or promotional interests are involved.
Subject categories such as AI Basic, AI Ethics & Safety, AI Tools & Applications, Generative AI, Industry Trends and Machine Learning are not treated as substitutes for article-format disclosure. Promotional or supplied material is not presented as independent editorial analysis merely because it uses an editorial presentation.
Development and Testing Phase
Before full public launch, Deshi AI operated through a development and testing period in which the website, editorial structure, author presentation, categories, article classifications, policy framework, correction procedures, public contact routes, source presentation, commercial disclosures, privacy controls, accessibility review, security practices, search presentation and structured information were still being developed.
Public accessibility during this period does not remove Deshi AI’s responsibility for factual errors, misleading presentation, unclear authorship or undisclosed relationships. Articles published during the testing phase remain subject to retrospective review and may be corrected, rebuilt, reclassified, restricted or removed where the evidence or presentation does not meet the launch standard.
Public Governance Architecture
For full launch, Deshi AI has established public standards addressing publication identity, editorial scope, accountable functions, Publisher and legal information, editorial independence, ethics, newsroom practice, fact-checking, sources, corrections, conflicts of interest, investigations, anonymous sources, artificial intelligence, technology reporting, authors, guest contributions, whistleblowers, complaints, rights of reply, ownership, funding, advertising, sponsorship, privacy, cookies, Terms of Use, copyright, accessibility and security.
These policies represent public operating commitments rather than a guarantee that mistakes will never occur. Their purpose is to establish a transparent framework against which Deshi AI’s editorial and institutional conduct can be understood and reviewed.
Masthead and Institutional Scale
Deshi AI currently operates through a compact independent publishing model focused primarily on technology and artificial intelligence. It does not claim a worldwide office network, large permanent newsroom, professional accreditation, regulatory membership, institutional affiliation, award history, staff size, audience scale or legal status unless those facts have been independently verified and publicly disclosed.
The Masthead identifies accountable responsibilities without inventing departments, employees or organisational structures. Named appointments are added only when the person’s identity, role, authority and continuing involvement have been confirmed.
Ownership and Control
At launch, Deshi AI is presented and operated as an independently controlled technology publication under the Deshi AI name. Editorial and operational responsibility rests with the publication’s accountable Publisher or operating authority as publicly identified.
No advertiser, sponsor, contributor, technology provider or commercial partner receives editorial ownership merely through a relationship with Deshi AI. If the legal operator, beneficial ownership or controlling structure changes, the relevant ownership and transparency information will be updated.
Deshi AI does not present itself as being controlled by a government body, political organisation, university, trade association or external media group unless such a relationship is formally established and publicly disclosed.
Funding Position
At launch, Deshi AI operates through a Publisher-supported publishing model. Support may cover editorial work, website infrastructure, hosting, security, administration, professional services, technology costs and continued development of the publication.
Deshi AI may generate revenue through clearly disclosed publishing activities including advertising, Sponsored Content, Partner Content, affiliate arrangements, licensing, events, subscriptions, memberships, grants, donations or other lawful technology-media services.
The identification of a potential revenue category does not mean that the category is currently active. Future transparency reporting will distinguish active revenue streams from possible or planned sources and will identify material commercial dependencies where appropriate.
Editorial Independence
Deshi AI’s editorial standards prohibit advertisers, sponsors, partners, contributors, sources and subjects from obtaining an undisclosed right to determine independent editorial conclusions. The publication does not sell favorable independent reporting, guaranteed positive reviews, predetermined editorial conclusions, immunity from criticism, removal of accurate public-interest material, undisclosed sponsorship, false authorship, purchased corrections, concealed commercial links, guaranteed search rankings, guaranteed Google News inclusion or guaranteed citation by an AI system.
Technology companies, AI developers, software vendors, startups and other commercial entities may provide information or access for reporting, but supplied information does not automatically become independent evidence. Material failures in the separation between editorial and commercial activity are subject to correction and disclosure.
Testing-Period Authorship
Testing-period articles may have included administrative or content-management bylines while the publication’s author structure was being developed. An administrative content-management identity is not treated as an adequate long-term public authorship standard.
The archive review therefore requires each retained article to be associated with the actual verified author, an accurate collective editorial byline, a protected real author identity where justified or another defensible attribution method.
Deshi AI does not create fictional journalists, invented experts or synthetic professional identities to replace uncertain authorship. Where the actual author cannot be established and responsible attribution is not possible, an article may be rebuilt, restricted from indexing, withdrawn or removed.
Author Profiles and Contributor Programme
Full-launch author profiles identify a real public name, accurate current role, relevant technology expertise, material affiliations and conflicts, recent work, an appropriate professional contact route where necessary and the date on which the profile was last verified.
Deshi AI does not publish invented qualifications, awards, employment history, memberships, technical experience, academic affiliations, office locations or institutional endorsements.
The contributor programme requires real identity, accurate biography, originality, evidence, rights to submitted material, conflict disclosure, commercial disclosure, prior-publication disclosure, material AI-use disclosure, responsibility for sources, editorial review and reasonable post-publication cooperation. Guest contributions are not treated as a disguised paid-link or hidden advertising service. Commercial publishing proposals follow a separate commercial route.
Article Classification
During the testing period, Deshi AI did not always present a complete distinction between subject categories and article formats. At launch, the publication separates technology subjects such as AI Basic, AI Ethics & Safety, AI Tools & Applications, Generative AI, Industry Trends and Machine Learning from formats such as News, Analysis, Explainer, Investigation, Interview, Opinion, Review, Sponsored Content, Partner Content and Press Release.
The distinction is intended to appear through visible article labels, metadata and structured information where applicable, so readers can distinguish what an article is about from what kind of editorial or commercial material it represents.
Date Presentation
The testing-period website contained dates across listings, article templates and archive displays while the publication structure was being developed. The launch standard requires one clear original publication date, a substantive update date only where an article has materially changed, consistent time-zone treatment and agreement between visible dates and structured information.
Routine proofreading, formatting or minor copyediting does not justify presenting an old article as newly published. Duplicate or template-generated dates are corrected where identified, and archived material is not intentionally made to appear current merely because its presentation has been refreshed.
Archive Review
The testing-period archive is being reviewed article by article. Each item receives an editorial decision to retain, correct, rebuild, merge, restrict from indexing or remove.
Retention means the article is considered suitable for the launch standard. Correction applies where the underlying work remains useful but requires a factual, language, authorship, date, disclosure, source, link, image or technical correction. Rebuilding applies where the subject remains valuable but the evidence, structure, originality, classification or disclosure is inadequate. Merging consolidates substantially overlapping material into a stronger resource. Index restriction may apply to thin, obsolete, duplicative or testing-only pages. Removal applies where material is fabricated, unauthorized, unsafe, unlawful, irreparably misleading or without a legitimate publication purpose.
The review considers author identity, biography, publication and update dates, article format, subject category, headline support, language quality, repeated passages, unsupported claims, sources, citations, methodology, conflicts, commercial relationships, company-supplied material, requests for comment, image sources and rights, image credits, alternative text, privacy, legal concerns, links, canonical treatment, sitemap inclusion, structured data, accessibility and correction requirements.
An article is not retained solely because it attracts search traffic.
Corrections Position
Deshi AI has established a Corrections and Updates Policy and intends to maintain a Public Corrections Log for qualifying material changes. The absence of an entry at a particular point in time should not be interpreted as proof that every testing-period article has completed review or that no correction will subsequently be necessary.
Material problems identified during editorial review receive an appropriate correction, clarification, editor’s note, disclosure, update, reclassification, retraction or removal depending on the circumstances. Testing-period mistakes are not exempt from correction simply because they were published before the formal launch framework was completed.
Complaints and Rights of Reply
The launch framework provides dedicated routes for factual corrections, formal complaints, grievances, rights of reply, privacy concerns, legal notices, accessibility reports and security vulnerabilities.
Deshi AI aims to acknowledge specific correction requests within two business days and formal complaints or grievances within five business days. Complex matters may require additional time. These response periods are operational targets rather than absolute guarantees.
Sources and Methodology
Research-intensive, investigative, data-driven and technically complex articles should include a Sources and Methodology section identifying principal evidence, interviews, documents, datasets, calculations, technical tests, relevant time period, jurisdiction, limitations, interested-party material, requests for comment and unresolved uncertainty.
A generic statement that an article was “researched” or based on “multiple sources” is not considered an adequate explanation where the methodology materially affects the reader’s ability to assess the work.
Company-Supplied and Interested-Party Material
Deshi AI’s technology reporting may involve company documents, founder interviews, product demonstrations, technical presentations, press materials, supplied statistics, research summaries or statements provided by technology companies and developers.
Such material can be a legitimate source but is not automatically independent evidence. Editorial review determines whether attribution, supplied-material disclosure, commercial disclosure, independent corroboration, a response from another interested party, reclassification, correction or rebuilding is required.
Claims about AI products, security, privacy, performance, market position or technical capabilities receive particular attention because promotional descriptions can differ materially from independently verifiable performance.
Commercial Content
Deshi AI distinguishes independent editorial work, Sponsored Content, Partner Content, Press Releases, affiliate-supported pages, company-supplied material and ordinary guest contributions.
Commercial material is labeled before a reasonable reader could mistake it for independent reporting. Where appropriate, disclosures identify who funded or supplied the material, who produced it, whether approval rights existed, whether links have a commercial purpose and how the material differs from independent editorial work.
The publication prohibits undisclosed payment, hidden client authorship, purchased independent coverage, guaranteed favorable conclusions, fabricated reviews, false testimonials, concealed affiliate relationships and search-manipulation arrangements presented as journalism.
Artificial Intelligence and Synthetic Media
Deshi AI permits controlled AI assistance under human responsibility. AI is not treated as an independent author, source or evidentiary authority. Factual claims require verification against appropriate non-AI sources, and material use of AI may require disclosure depending on its role in producing the published work.
Synthetic media is labeled where relevant. Fictional AI journalists or invented experts are prohibited. Confidential material is not entered into unsuitable AI systems, and high-risk editorial decisions remain subject to accountable human judgment.
Testing-period articles are reviewed for fabricated citations, repetitive or unnatural automated language, unsupported factual claims, false attribution, misleading synthetic material and undisclosed substantial AI involvement.
Privacy and Cookies
The Privacy Policy explains personal information that may be processed through website visits, correspondence, correction requests, complaints, contributor submissions, commercial enquiries, newsletter registration and security reports.
The launch programme emphasizes data minimization, access control, appropriate retention, lawful processing, rights handling, service-provider review, protection of confidential information and incident response.
The Cookie Policy is expected to reflect the technologies actually deployed on Deshi AI. Optional analytics, advertising and personalization technologies are not activated before a valid choice where consent is legally required. Optional categories should not be preselected, acceptance and rejection should be reasonably accessible, withdrawal should be as easy as consent, and a persistent Cookie Settings route should be maintained where applicable.
Accessibility
Deshi AI is working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and does not claim complete conformance without a documented evaluation.
The accessibility programme addresses keyboard navigation, visible focus states, skip navigation, logical heading structure, sufficient contrast, text resizing, alternative text, captions where required, form labels, useful error messages, descriptive links, responsive mobile presentation and accessible cookie controls.
Known limitations arising from third-party services are identified where practicable and addressed when the publication can reasonably influence the underlying implementation.
Security
Deshi AI has established a Security and Vulnerability Disclosure framework intended to provide a clear route for reporting technical security issues.
The launch security standard includes individual administrator accounts, multi-factor authentication where available, least-privilege access, maintained software, removal of unused components, backups, restoration testing, secure forms, incident records, vulnerability reporting and appropriate protection of confidential source or contributor information.
No online publication can guarantee absolute security. Security controls are therefore treated as an ongoing operational responsibility rather than a one-time launch certification.
Community and Comments
Public comments are not treated as a mandatory feature of the Deshi AI publication model. The absence of an open comment section does not prevent readers from participating in the publication.
Community features may be introduced only after moderation responsibilities, abuse standards, reporting procedures, appeals, privacy, retention, child-safety considerations, impersonation controls, spam protection and sufficient operational capacity have been established.
Readers can participate through correction requests, complaints, rights of reply, contributor submissions and other appropriate editorial contact routes.
Search, Indexing and Structured Information
The launch programme includes canonical URLs, XML sitemaps, author information, Article and Organization structured information, breadcrumbs, crawlable internal links, accurate publication dates, redirects, duplicate-page controls, search-console verification and archive review.
Deshi AI does not claim that policies, metadata or structured data guarantee search rankings, indexing, Google News inclusion, Discover visibility, traffic, authority measurements or citation by AI systems.
Technical optimization is intended to improve discoverability and clarity. It does not substitute for original, useful and trustworthy technology journalism.
Known Launch Priorities
The continuing launch transition includes completion of the testing-period archive review, replacement or verification of administrative bylines, confirmation of author profiles, correction of inconsistent dates, refinement of technology subject categories, source and disclosure review, operation of role-based contact addresses, accessibility testing, cookie-configuration verification, structured-data validation, security hardening and maintenance of the Corrections Log as qualifying actions occur.
These priorities are not described as completed until the relevant work has actually been performed and verified.
Launch Commitments
Deshi AI’s public commitments are to identify real authors, classify articles accurately, provide meaningful sources where appropriate, disclose material commercial relationships, maintain correction and complaint routes, handle confidential information responsibly, avoid fictitious institutional scale, review high-risk technology claims, distinguish opinion from reported information, label synthetic media where appropriate, improve accessibility, maintain reasonable security controls, correct material errors visibly and report institutional progress transparently.
The publication also intends to distinguish technology reporting from promotional material and to make clear when information has been supplied by companies, developers, vendors, agencies or other interested parties.
Next Report
Deshi AI intends to publish its next Editorial Transparency Report after the first complete operational reporting period. The report is expected to address article output by format, active authors and contributors, corrections, complaints, rights of reply, Sponsored Content, Partner Content, affiliate-supported pages, material funding categories, AI and synthetic-media use, accessibility progress, security reports, privacy issues, policy changes, archive-review progress and remaining operational limitations.
The intended reporting period is 7 August 2026 through 31 December 2026, with publication targeted by 31 January 2027, subject to the completeness and reliability of the underlying records.
